Please note we do not usually carry stock and your purchase is made especially for you.

Our products are shipped from South Africa and sold on an unpaid Delivery Duty basis.

With this in mind, please be aware that you, or whoever the lucky recipient might be, may have to pay Import Duty or a Formal Customs Entry Fee upon, or prior to, delivery.

If you're unsure how this will affect the overall cost of your order, please check your Local Legislation rules.

Carmel Designs reserves the right to amend the international delivery charge for large orders.

STANDARD RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

We hope you are delighted with your order. However, if it is not quite what you had in mind, or it’s not up to scratch, don’t worry, just send it back to us within 28 days and providing it is in it's original condition, we’ll gladly exchange it for you.

Just fill in the returns form that came in your parcel and send it back to us. We recommend you use a recorded delivery service and obtain proof of postage.


Once we have received your returned item(s), we will process it as quickly as possible. However, if we’re really busy, it can take up-to 7 days from the date of receipt, or up to 10 days during the busy Christmas and Sale periods. Should you have any queries about the status of your return, please contact our friendly contact centre team on +27 (21) 555 4229.


If you’re lucky enough to live to close to our shop in South Africa, you’re welcome to exchange any of your unwanted goods in store (except for outlets & concessions). If nothing else takes your fancy, we can also offer you a credit note. Sadly, we cannot process refunds in our store for orders placed online.

 

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please note that we do not offer any refunds but you are welcome to exchange your item or request a credit note. The credit note will be issued as a web voucher which is valid for 6 months and may be used for your next online purchase. Before returning any undamaged or non-faulty items to us, we do ask that it is in the same condition as when you first bought it, ensuring the tags are still attached. Please ensure you have taken reasonable care to make certain that it is returned safely and not damaged in transit. Please include original packaging where possible.

If you are returning products that are not faulty, then the cost of returning the product to us is your responsibility.

We really hope that your order arrives in one piece, but in the event of any products being faulty, we will cover the cost of the postage (up to R100 for SA and up to R799 for the Rest of the World) and exchange the products for you. 

Providing you have proof of purchase, we are happy to exchange the faulty or damaged goods for up to 28 days.

Please note that cut lengths of fabric cannot be returned or exchanged.

 

CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed we are unable to cancel it, or make any changes to it. If you do change your mind, please wait to receive the parcel and return it back to us using the procedure above.
